Pumair-170DW: Unique Dual Wavelength airborne system

The Pumair-170DW (Dual Wavelength) is equipped with two state-of-the-art infrared cameras: a longwave (LWIR) and a shortwave (SWIR) infrared camera.

LWIR cameras are well known for the detection and tracking of thermal events. Yet with our SWIR cameras you will have a second infrared window, close to the visible light. This allows you to locate and track the path of flames and raging fires, unbothered by smoldering grounds and flying ashes, which normally block LWIR cameras. In addition if you need to detect objects or persons at night with excellent clarity, you can choose SWIR or LWIR technology to give the best vision as an alternative to night vision equipment.

Using our Pumair-170DW, you will benefit from the best characteristics of both LWIR and SWIR in one powerful and multi-purpose airborne imaging platform.

Key Benefits

  • No export restrictions
  • One of the smallest gimbals on the market
  • Low cost, high performance dual sensor system
  • Suitable for use under any light and weather condition
  • Real-time remote detection and classification of thermal and non-thermal abnormalities
